Very easy swap if you have all of the necessary hardware, custom drive shaft and machined bell housing. The factory L series bellhousing is reused and is machined declared over the KA24 gearbox.
Since my truck has a rear window defroster, the wiring is already present to add heated mirrors. Just needed to purchase some XLT heated mirrors and install.
Removed EGR pipes from exhaust manifolds, replaced with Darkside Developments race pipes. Ended up breaking a bolt in the passenger side manifold, welded a plug in it's place rather than using a block off plate on that side.
Fixed sagging headliner courtesy of 20 year old glue. Dropping the headliner wasn't incredibly difficult except for around the sunroof retaining trim. Using the right glue is critical for this, I used 3M Super 77.
